I realized two things I didn't include after I posted the last update. It's funny; not much goes on but then when it does it's pretty fast & furious and frought with lots of emotion. It's hard to soak it all in!
During our appointment today we were given a breif description of our kids. We were told that our son is energetic & polite. No surprise there as this is what we had already heard. We were told that our daughter is SHY (Whut?!) and I can't remember exactly how she phrased it (I'll try to remember to ask again when we go back) but basically our daughter says whatever comes to mind. Well, they got one out two right!
Also, after we pick up our referral tomorrow afternoon we will be boarding an overnight train. Unless I pick up an air card before we leave Kiev, I will be without internet for a while. But we'll be back in touch as soon as we can!
Yes, it's 2am here. Yes, epic sleep failure (took a hard nap today that must have done me in). We're both not yet adjusted to the time difference. And it's weird...you would think that not being able to communicate with anyone would be understimulationg but it's the exact opposite. I hear & see everything that is unfamiliar and my brain still tries to figure it out. I guess it's just my curious nature...Or some other kind of disorder that is unique to me (just like all the other unique disorders only I seem to be afflicted by).
Anyway, I will try to post an update Thursday after we meet our son!!!!!!!!
I cant wait to hear how it goes! I didnt sleep well either guess it was a combination of things. So excited for U and Richard :0))))))
