SDA Referral for Our Son

We just returned from our SDA appointment. We got brief medical infromation on both kids; nothing of which was concerning. Both kid's files had 2 pictures each; this is how we know they are the right kids! We were a little concerned about recognizing our son because we've never met him. But there was no issue. The pictures they showed us were of the same kid in other pictures we have been shown of him.

We will return to the same place tomorrow between 4:00 and 5:00 PM to pick up our referral for our son and will immediately board a trip to his region.

These are the metal gates leading to the side door that we went through for our SDA appointment.



This is the actual door we went through. It's a door to a stairwell.



This is the front door of the building. If you look closely you can see (in English) "Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Youth, and Sports. This is the division of the government that oversees adoptions.

 These are some photos of the area sourrounding the SDA building. I was a fairly nice & quaint (as quaint goes in Kiev!) area with street vendors and some shops.

 This is just one of those "puzzlement" things. It's a drain downspout with what appears to be electicral wires in it.

This one's for my Mom. It's an art supply store.

On the backside of this church is the SDA building and entrance we passed through for our appointment.

Another puzzlement picture... This is in the middle of the road. It's aslo a fine example of their cobblestone roads. When I say cobblestone, I don't mean the manmade, manufactured kind.
