Two sentimental things we did yesterday: we bought three (one for Poppa, Momma, and Nastya) necklaces from a street vendor @ the fortress with Nastya's name on them in Russian (all for 12 grivna or 1-and-a-1/2 US dollars!) and we took a video of Nastya introducing herself to our son and talking to him about our family and what it is like with us in America. Well, truth be known, we actually have no idea what she talked about, but that's what we *think* she talked about! Maybe we should have our facilitator "screen" the video before we show it to our son?!
Time to hit the road/pothole!! Hoping we take the Black Sea route. Heard it's scenic!
